The Warren County History Museum is open for the season. Julie Shaw highlights exhibits on display and history behind the Warren County Historical Society:
“There’s several exhibits going on right now, a Civil War and Military Exhibit, a Fashionistas Through the Decades, and of course our exhibit there that is all the time is the Agricultural Room,” shares Shaw.
“The Historical Society, the earliest date I could find was 1938 when that was formed. In the mid-1960s, the museum was in Roseville and then in 2008 from help from the Twomey Foundation and the Pattee Foundation, the current property was purchased,” Shaw adds.
The Warren County History Museum, located at 238 South Sunny Lane in Monmouth, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 1 to 4 pm.
