Another school year is winding down for the West Central School District. Graduation was held Sunday, May 17th in the High School Gym and Superintendent Stacey Day shares a fun tradition the students are a part of before leaving for the last time:

“They do their Senior Walk before they leave for the last time. That is always fun. Gives them a chance to walk down with the little kids in their cap and gown and see their former teachers and see all the little ones. The little ones just love it. They decorated the hallways. There are roughly 50 graduating and I am really excited for them. They have been a fun group. It is always a bittersweet time for them to wrap up what they are doing but get out and go show the world what they can do. They are going all over and lots of plans to go do their thing and then come back. We have a handful of people that are looking at being teachers, opening daycares, which is a big deal. I am really excited for them. They are going to go out and do some really great things.”

The final day of school for West Central students is this Wednesday, May 20th.
