Founded on a commitment to personalized service and trusted financial guidance, Blucker Kneer & Associates has built a strong reputation over many years of serving individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout Western Illinois. The acquisition represents a strategic investment by 1870 Holdings in expanding its professional services platform while preserving the relationships and service standards that clients have come to expect.
As part of the transaction, longtime principals Ben Burgland, CPA and Teresa Welch, CPA will remain actively involved with the firm through multi-year employment agreements to ensure a seamless transition for clients and staff. Their continued leadership and client relationships will help maintain continuity while supporting future growth and succession planning.
In connection with the acquisition, Blucker Kneer & Associates, Ltd. will be integrated into MB Tax & Accounting, LLC, the operating accounting platform of 1870 Holdings, established through the acquisition of Matthew Anderson, CPA. This integration will allow the combined organization to leverage shared resources, expanded capabilities, and enhanced technology while continuing to deliver the personalized service clients expect.
