Following 28 years of service to the local community, Deputy Chief Joe Bratcher has retired from the Monmouth Police Department, taking with him a wealth of knowledge, says Police Chief Joe Switzer:
“Deputy Chief Bratcher retired. He is moving onto bigger and better things from what he says. He is going to be missed within the department. He is taking a wealth of knowledge with him; when somebody has been somewhere for 28 years and they retire. I have people waiting to take on those responsibilities, to gain that knowledge and experience and they will be in the same position that he was in. Joe was a good asset to the department, and he will definitely be missed.”
