There will be one contested race on the ballot this November for a seat on the Warren County Board in District 2 between Court Hopkins and Jeff Rankin. Chairman Mike Pearson breaks down two other seats being filled by new members:

“Mark Crain, he is on the ballot for District 1. Since Austin Cox resigned his position, we had the opportunity and it was recommended that we appoint him, so this allows him to get his feet wet. Lyman Schar has been on the Board for quite a few years. He has decided that he is going to retire from us. With his retirement, we have a new person that went through the Primary Election and is running unopposed, Matt Jungmann; he will make an excellent new board member.”

Pearson and Sean Cavanaugh will also appear on the ballot, both running unopposed. Remaining Warren County Board members include Frank Doyle, Tim Bresnahan, Sean Stevens, Todd Winkler, Stephen Hawkins, Thaddeus Tharp, Dave Jenks, Dan Byers, Stevphen Mahoney, and Bill Thompson.
