ROE #33 Reports Strong Year of Grants, Student Support, and Services

While preparation for the next school year is already underway for the Regional Office of Education #33, Regional Superintendent Kathryn Jennings reflects on the numbers for the 2025-2026 academic year:

“This year we had 100 grant programs that ran out of our office and we totaled $18 million in grant funds that went directly into our schools in our communities. We had 70 adult education graduates, with 119 level gains, 110 RAES students enrolled, 236 prenatal to age 3 students that were enrolled in our programs, 803 preschool students, 562 criminal background checks were conducted out of the office, only through May,” informs Jennings.

“Our SAFE Attendance Support Team conducted 631 school visits, 529 home visits, 217 attendance support meetings, and served 1,647 homeless children across our four counties,” Jennings adds.

Additionally, the deadline to renew educator licenses, which includes administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and support team members is Tuesday, June 30th.
