Team USA Begins World Cup Play Against Paraguay

The United States are taking the pitch to begin it’s journey at the World Cup. Tammy Trujillo has a preview.

A St. Louis native is set to wear the captain’s armband for the United States in their first FIFA World Cup match tonight against Paraguay. The U.S. Men’s National Team will be led by defender Tim Ream, who started all four matches for the 2022 World Cup run in Qatar. The 38-year-old Ream attended Saint Dominic High School before playing college ball at Saint Louis University. Kickoff for the U.S. tonight is set for eight at SoFi Stadium.
