United Baseball Wraps Up Record-Breaking Season

Share

The United Red Storm baseball team wrapped up another record-breaking season last Saturday, falling to Jacksonville Routt 8-5 in the sectional championship.

United trailed 8-0 at one point, but the Red Storm fought back late to give themselves a chance.

The Red Storm finish the season at 30-6-2, marking the second straight year they reached the 30-win total. This was also the deepest postseason run in program history, as United reached the sectional championship and finished as one of the final 16 teams standing in Class 1A baseball.

Head Coach Ryan Molek says even though it was a tough loss, there is a good lesson for his team to take from it.

The Red Storm will graduate a strong senior group, but also return plenty of underclassmen who will look to fill those spots as United tries to put together another strong season in 2027.
