There is big news for Henderson County, as Western Community Public Transportation is officially expanding service to the county in July.
Director Morgan Lewis says they will be celebrating the expansion next week with a ribbon cutting and ceremonial first ride.
“We’re bringing on Henderson County on July 1st, and we are going to celebrate on June 22nd. We are going to have a ribbon cutting and ceremonial first ride in Henderson County. This will happen at 11 AM, and we’re going to have it held at The Barn at Fairview Acres, right off of US 34. It’s an open event to the public. We’d love for everybody to attend if they can and help us celebrate.”
