On Tuesday, July 14th, the Knox County 4-H Fair hosted the 2026 4-H Barrow Show. 3 classes were a part of the first part of the show, including Berkshire Barrows, and both lightweight and heavyweight Duroc Barrows.
Congratulations to the winners, which would include Tenley Pruett, with Rio Livestock, as your Champion Duroc, with her lightweight Duroc Barrow, and Reserve Champion Duroc being Bryce Tucker, with Wataga Trailblazers, with his heavyweight Duroc Barrow.
Up next for the morning were 4 more classes, including Hampshire, Spotted Swine, and light and heavy weight Yorkshire Barrows. The winners for this portion of the Barrow Show include your Champion Yorkshire, Bryce Tucker, with Wataga Trailblazers, with his lightweight Yorkshire Barrow, and your Reserve Champion Yorkshire goes to Madison Wagner, with Walnut Grove Progressors, with her heavyweight Yorkshire Barrow.
The overall results of the Barrow Show include 5th Overall Purebred Barrow, Kelsey Hill, 4th Overall Purebred Barrow, Cooper Main, 3rd Overall Purebred, Bryce Tucker, Reserve Champion Purebred Barrow, Bryce Tucker with Wataga Trailblazers, with his lightweight Yorkshire Barrow, and the Champion Purebred Barrow goes to Tenley Pruett with Rio Livestock, with her lightweight Duroc Barrow.
Crossbred Barrows conclude of the next 5 classes for the 4-H Barrow Show. The many competitive exhibitors in each class did a wonderful job, but the final results of the Crossbred Barrows include 5th Overall Crossbred Barrow, Megan Peterson, 4th Overall Crossbred Barrow, Graham Link, 3rd Overall Crossbred Barrow, Aiden Look, Reserve Champion Crossbred Barrow being Anna Link with Rio Livestock, and your Champion Crossbred Barrow goes to Eliana Hankes with Henderson Aggies.

To conclude the 2026 4-H Barrow Show, here are the overall results of the winners. 5th Overall Barrow is Graham Link with Rio Livestock, 4th Overall Barrow is Aiden Look with Williamsfield Town and Country, 3rd Overall is Tenley Pruett with Rio Livestock, Reserve Grand Champion Barrow is Anna Link, and your Grand Champion Barrow goes to Aliana Hankes with Henderson Aggies.
