Over the next few weeks, City employees will go door-to-door in the North 5th Street area and associated side streets to collect information from residents.
The information is needed for a grant application the City is submitting to fund sewer replacement and related infrastructure improvements. The City has a strong record of securing grants of this type, which has enabled significant infrastructure replacements in Monmouth. City staff believe the additional resident information will strengthen the application and improve the chances of receiving funding.
Residents in the designated area are asked to cooperate with City staff when they visit.
