Solvera Health was one of seventeen organizations, and government bodies awarded a grant allocation from the Knox County Mental Health (708) Board. Chief Operating Officer Robin Henry explains how the funds support not only Solvera, but the Knox County community:
“The intent of the 708 Board, it is very unique to Illinois. The Board funds organizations that do provide treatment and support mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities services, and it is there to increase the accountability and measurable impact. The funds are exclusive to our Knox County clinic,” informs Henry.
“The outcomes that we are really striving to obtain with this grant allocation, it is the number of Knox County residents served, new patients that are accessing care, how many psychiatry visits, what the reduction for wait time looks like, medication management, participation in our follow up rates, as well as patient satisfaction and experience, and how we also collaborate with our other community agencies,” Henry states.
“Solvera Health is very fortunate to receive about $200,000. That will secure our employees, the behavior health program, and it is also bringing transportation to our clinic. This the grant allocation, we were awarded a full-time driver, that will also help with medication delivery,” adds Henry.
Grant allocations from the Knox County Mental Health (708) Board took effect July 1st.
