Are you interested in helping the youth in Warren County? Join the Kiwanis Club, located here in Monmouth! The new president, Ginger Byers, speaks out about how the Kiwanis Club gives back to local schools in our community.
“I am actually the new president of Kiwanis, here in Monmouth. Anybody is welcome to join our club. We meet the second and the fourth Tuesday of each month at Patton Block, at noon. All of our money stays local. Any money that we raise stays local and helps all of the children locally in Warren County. We send money to the kids at United and Monmouth-Roseville; we buy some shoes for the kids that need them, we donate to some organizations locally, and some diaper bags, some of those types of things. We can always use some new people, fresh faces, fresh ideas for us that we need. Anybody is welcome to join Kiwanis group, we would love to have you.”
The Kiwanis Club, in Monmouth, does some great things, such as giving back to local schools to help the students and donating to local organizations. If you would like to be a part of something great, join the Kiwanis Club today!
