Following a recent retirement, three officers have been promoted within the Monmouth Police Department, reports City of Monmouth Operations Director Ken Helms:
“The first promotion of the night was Lieutenant Brandon Blackman was promoted to Deputy Chief, Sergeant Brian Hall was promoted to Lieutenant, and Investigator Josh Kramer was promoted to Sergeant. All of them all rose through the ranks, starting off as patrolmen. They have all been with the police department for quite a few years and a lot of experience there. We are really happy that they have chosen to stay within the department and move up to leadership positions.”
