Scots Swim Team Earns Academic Honors

Share

The Monmouth College swim team had a strong year in the pool, with the men finishing 6th at the Midwest Conference Championships, while the women finished 5th.

The Scots also got it done in the classroom this year, as both teams earned academic honors, shares Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva.

“They did a great job this year. In the fall, both of our teams made the all-scholar list with the Coaches Association for swimming, the CSCAA, and in the fall the women had the number one GPA in the entire country, up over 3.9. They finished in the spring still in the top five, actually fifth in all of Division Three, with their GPA right around 3.8. The men also made the all-scholar list as well, so both swim teams got that done in the classroom for both semesters, which is great news.”

The Scots swim team will kick off their 2026-27 season October 25th with a home meet against Augustana.
