Fair season is here, and the Warren County Prime Beef Festival will be here before you know it.
Returning to the festival this year is the Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association, with a fun promotion planned.
“We started last year partnering with them because we got the complaint, ‘There are no ribeyes at the Prime Beef Festival.’ We were like, ‘We need to help. That’s our job, right?’ So starting last year, we were there Thursday and Friday night doing ribeyes and hamburgers, but with a twist. We gave them away. We’re doing some stuff this year where, if you stop by our booth, you can get a free ribeye or a free hamburger, but you might have to answer a trivia question.”
The Tri-County Cattlemen will also partner with the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, giving festivalgoers a chance to meet local elected officials Thursday night, followed by state and national officials Friday night.
