CASA of West Central Illinois is looking for more volunteers to help children in foster care across the region.
Executive Director Kelly Price says around 160 children currently have a CASA volunteer, while roughly 420 children are in foster care across the five counties CASA serves.
“There’s a great need for volunteers. It doesn’t take very much time. You don’t need any special education, just a loving, caring heart to help children. We will teach you everything you need. We’re your partner throughout this whole process, and we’d love to have you on board.”
