On Saturday, September 19th, the United Way of West Central Illinois, in partnership with the Buchanan Center for the Arts, will host the Hispanic Heritage Festival on the Public Square in Downtown Monmouth. Community Outreach Coordinator Madison Heiser highlights the evening’s events:

“The BCA will have all artwork submitted through the Call to Artists, in the display window at 64 Public Square. We will be announcing the winners that our judge Nikki Ponce chose and they will be printed on shirts and tote bags. There will also be live music, other entertainment, some dancers from the Quad Cities, and you can enjoy lots of good food vendors.”

The Hispanic Heritage Festival, which is free to enter and open to everyone, will take place from 4 to 9 pm in Downtown Monmouth.
