The 34th Season of the Maple Leaf Community Concert Series opens Thursday, October 1st with Alliance Brass inside Dahl Chapel on the Monmouth College campus beginning at 7 pm. Board Member Stan Jenks previews the sound the audience will enjoy:
“We have had Alliance Brass before and they are a crowd pleaser because of their musicality. The title of their program is ‘Made in America – Celebrating 250 Years of American Music.’ There is going to be a variety of music styles and music from different decades. We are very excited to have them lead off the concert series in this year of celebrating 250 years of America.”
Tickets will be available at the door the night of the concert. Memberships, which includes all four concerts of the season, are $70. Single concert tickets are also available for $30 each. Students are free.
