The Monmouth College men’s golf team finished seventh at the Benedictine Eagle Invite in West Chicago on Tuesday.
Jaxson Willer (Galva, Illinois) tied for 10th with a +1 73, three shots behind the winner. Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) and Cooper Hansen (Delavan, Illinois) tied for 40th at +6 78 while Connor Watson (Macomb, Illinois) tied for 59th with an 81. Collin Heslin (Nashville, Tennessee) rounded out the A squad with a +12 84 to tie for 84th
The B team finished 21st and were led by Davis Rogers (Atlanta, Illinois) and Colton McDowell (Kingston, Illinois) who both shot 84. Keigan Crummer (Galesburg, Illinois) tied for 93rd at +15 87 while Brody Lytle (Wataga, Illinois) tied for 107th with a +20 92. CJ Pugh (Abingdon, Illinois) tied for 108th with a +22 94.
The Scots play October 5 in the Clarke Invite in Iowa.
