The United Girls golf team placed second at the Class 1A Regional at Baker Park in Kewanee today. United shot 382 behind Regional champ Macomb’s 367. Scores for United were Paige Christianson in 2nd place with 85, Kennedy Martin tied for third with 86, Abigail Kendall in 12th place with 101 and Carsyn Long in 23rd place with 110. Aileen Taylor shot 113 for 25th place and Isabella Jaminet finished 39th place with 120. The girls have advanced to the Sectional tournament on Monday, Oct 5 at Valley View in Cambridge.
