October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a great reminder to schedule those mammograms, says OSF Community Health Program Manager Emily Brooks:
“If you are in need for mammograms, definitely get those scheduled. We really highlight that in October because it is really important that all women, no matter your age honestly, to go get your mammograms. It is important to get that checked out, make sure everything is good, and stay up on your health.”
Walk-in mammogram screenings are available at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg every Wednesday from noon to 2 pm and every third Saturday of the month from 8 to 11 am.
