The Monmouth-Roseville athletic department is getting a $5,000 boost thanks to COUNTRY Financial and the IHSA.
Monmouth-Roseville was selected as the winner of COUNTRY Financial’s Sport Your School Giveaway, which gives Illinois high schools a chance to receive $5,000 to benefit their athletic department and student-athletes. Schools are nominated through the online contest, with the winner randomly selected by the IHSA.
Local COUNTRY Financial agent Ben Olson shares the news.
“We’re excited to announce that Monmouth-Roseville is going to be the recipient of $5,000 from COUNTRY Financial’s partnership with the IHSA and our Sport Your School Giveaway.”
Local COUNTRY Financial agent Tiffany Cole says giving back to the community and local student-athletes makes the award even more special.
“We’re very excited about it. Anytime we can give back to our local clients, our community, and especially our youth in the athletic programs, that’s pretty amazing.”
The $5,000 will go to the Monmouth-Roseville athletic department and will be presented by Ben Olson and Tiffany Cole following the first quarter of tomorrow night’s football game against Chicago Little Village at Coach Dobry Field. The game will have a special 5:30 PM kickoff.
