The closure is for replacement of the 12 inch water main that ruptured a few weeks ago. The pipe is being directional bored to minimize pavement disturbance. The City of Monmouth estimates the closure to be for approximately 5 days, however this is subject to weather conditions. Replacement of this main is a particularly complex and challenging project.
