Two Illinois basketball players are being recognized ahead of the upcoming season. Sophomore forward David Mirkovic and senior guard Andrej Stojakovic were selected to the Preseason All-Big Ten team. Mirkovic ranked third on the Illini in scoring and second in both rebounding and assists last season. Stojakovic was the team’s second-leading scorer in his first season as an Illini. Both helped Illinois reach the Final Four.

The United Girls golf team competed in the Sectional match at Valley View today and finished in 6th place shooting a team score of 381, 29 strokes behind winner Metamora
