Besides an important football game at United High School on Friday night, there’s also a few other happenings on campus. First off, the United FFA is sponsoring a Fund Raising Hog Roast before the game. Fans are invited to enjoy a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, chips and a dessert for just $5. The meal will be served in the United High School Commons in the Fieldhouse. Tickets will be sold at the door.
It’s also Hall of Fame Night for United Athletics. Four individuals will be honored at halftime of the football game between United and South Fulton. Carrie Clayton, Margo Olson, Declan Flynn and Bridgett Brokaw will be inducted in the United Hall of Fame. Here’s United Athletic Director Jeremy Sharp with details on the inductees.
The Red Storm football squad is on a 2-game winning streak and will try to clinch a spot in the postseason and stay in the hunt for a LincolnLand South Division championship with a win over (6-1) South Fulton.
You can hear the game on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM, online at radiomonmouth.com or on our free 1330 WRAM app for your smartphone or tablet.
