The Warren County Board has accepted a bid for structural repairs needed to be completed at the courthouse, reports Buildings and Grounds Committee Chairman Sean Cavanaugh:

“We need to replace and shore up some steel beams that are right above what use to be the Election’s Office and below the large courtroom. We had two bids, one which was $200,000 and another one that was over $400,000. From Hutchinson Engineering, we gave them both bids to look at and they suggested we go with the $200,000 bid. That would be with River City Construction. They are already working with us. They are doing a great job with the jail, so they are going to be working at the courthouse.”

Additionally, Rebecca Skutt has been appointed by the Warren County Board as the next Clerk and Recorder.
