Early voting is underway ahead of General Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd. Warren County Clerk and Recorder Randi Reynolds shares local numbers as of last Thursday, October 8th:

“We have had about 161 voters in the office. We have sent out over 1,020 vote by mail ballots and have roughly received back around 200, so that is really good. We will be open extended hours toward the end of the month, October 28th and 29th, 4:30 to 6:30 pm. We are always open the Saturday before Election Day 8 am to noon.”

If you prefer to vote by mail, ballots can be requested through October 29th, but must be postmarked by midnight on Election Day. Additionally, Reynolds encourages voters to return the permanent vote by mail applications back to the Courthouse, regardless of your option:

“We also sent out the permanent vote by mail applications, which if you have never opted out before or signed up or said you didn’t want one, we encourage you to send those back. If you do not want one, just mark opt out. It is required that we send those out. Just mark the opt out option. Then the next time we have to send them out before the General Election in two years, you won’t receive those and we can save the County some money on sending those out with the postage.”

Election judges are needed for the upcoming General Election. Contact Reynolds at 309-734-8592.
