GAVC Holding Local College, Military, and Career Fair March 28th

Share

On Tuesday, March 28th, the Galesburg Area Vocational Center will hold a College, Military, and Career Fair at Galesburg High School, shares Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:

“We are a skilled blue collar economy. There is a place for us in the 21st Century, but the key word to that is skilled. We have to make sure that people are gaining the skills that are going to be necessary for them to have meaningful employment moving forward. If you have students that are involved in vocational education, that will be a great event to attend and maybe they can meet some employers and who knows where it can go from there.”

The College, Military, and Career Fair will take place from 8:30 am to 2 pm at Galesburg High School.
