The 2023 Warren County Agricultural Fair in Roseville gets underway this Wednesday with four days packed full of events, including the livestock shows, shares Board Member and Livestock Superintendent Lynn Shimmin:

“A great opportunity for our young exhibitors, both 4-H and FFA. We start off on Wednesday with the poultry and rabbits, dairy, bucket calf, and goats. Larger animals for the 4-H is on Thursday. We do swine, sheep, cattle, and then the big event is the Master Showmanship, which combines those exhibitors that want to show all three species and compete for a chance to do the Master Showmanship at the State Fair. The culmination of the 4-H part of it is Thursday night with the Livestock Premium Auction.”

Nightly grandstand events at the Warren County Agricultural Fair include Family Night on Wednesday, Triple J Bull Riding on Thursday, the Demo Derby on Friday, and Figure 8 races on Saturday. For a complete line up of events, visit http://www.ilwcf.com/schedule.html.
