With the Prime Beef Festival around the corner, it also means student ag days are upon us. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager and Ag in the Classroom Anna Sharp shares some of the Ag Days coming up for youth in our area.

“On the Prime Beef Festival, we will be hosting our Fourth Grade Ag Day. So, it will be on Thursday, September 7th and we are excited to host all the fourth-grade schools in our counties at Fairview Center United Methodist Church outside Monmouth for a great day for fourth graders to be able to rotate through different ag topics,” said Sanberg.

Sharp adds, “And then we have the next week, which is our Farm Safety Day for fifth graders. That is another great event and what I always say, it’s not just farm safety. All the safety topics are so relevant for the kids.”

Sanberg adds events such as these are great ways for participants and volunteers to communicate and gain new perspectives.
