It may just be the beginning of the second semester in the Monmouth-Roseville school district, but the Board of Education is already planning for next year as they have approved the 2024-2025 school calendar, shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Teacher Institute Days will be August 19th and 20th. The first day of student attendance would be August 21st. The big dates, of course, would be Christmas break, which would start on December 20th. Teachers come back January 3rd and kids start back January 6th. We hope to have the kids out by May 22nd, assuming that we don’t use snow days. We have our five remote learning days and if we have any more days after that, we would start using the emergency days.”

Superintendent Fletcher informs if all five remote learning days and the five emergency days are used, the final day of student attendance for the next academic year would be June 2, 2025.
