Iowa Falls Short In National Championship

Share

In the end the South Carolina team was just too strong. Caitlin Clark scored 30 points yesterday but it wasn’t enough, as Iowa lost to South Carolina in the national championship 87-75. Clark started the game with 18 points in the first quarter, but the rest of the Hawkeyes couldn’t keep up. Clark leaves Iowa as the top scorer in NCAA basketball, and the holder of all manner of women’s NCAA records.
