Vicky Sue Smith, 62, of Wataga, Illinois passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 13, 2024.

Vicky was born on June 10, 1962, to Virgil and Audrey Daly at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois.

Surviving Vicky is her significant other Russell Westfall of 22 years, daughter Atricia (Geno) Ramos of Florida, son Leo Smith of Wataga, Illinois and son Shawn (Jennifer) Smith of Bushnell, Illinois. Four grandchildren Malia and Kawika Ramos and Griffin and Grayson Smith. Also surviving are her two brothers Charles and John Daly. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers James and Michael Daly.

Vicky worked a variety of places throughout her life, but her favorite was helping take care of the elderly. Vicky enjoyed riding with Russell earlier in her life on his motorcycle. They also enjoyed going to the gambling boat together. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren. During her down time Vicky enjoyed taking care of her flowers and house plants in her home. Vicky enjoyed spending time with her cat Mama Lou.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will scatter her remains in a private ceremony at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.
