Monmouth-Roseville Softball Hosts United in Non-Conference Match Up at South Park

Monmouth-Roseville softball takes the season series over the United Red Storm with their 5-2 win on Monday on Senior Day for the Titans. The Monmouth-Roseville Titans move to 6-18 on the season following the win, the Red Storm drop to 4-25. The Titans got on the board early in this one, following a double by Jazmyn Copeland scoring one run in the first. Aubrey Painter answered back for the Red Storm in the top of the 4th , doubling to centerfield to tie the game up 1-1. After an error made by the Red Storm in the 4th, the Titans took the lead 2-1 and never looked back. Olivia Register grabs the win on the mound for the Titans, meanwhile Ella Bernhardt takes the loss. The Red Storm will be back on the diamond tomorrow taking on the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars, the Titans will be off until Friday as they host Annawan/Wethersfield for their final home game of the year.
