On Thursday, June 26th, you are wanted at the Wyatt Earp Birthplace in Monmouth for a special open house from 3 to 7 pm. Owner Jenny Robbins shares details of the upcoming event:

“We have an open house coming up on June 26th from 3 to 7 pm at 406 South 3rd Street in Monmouth. The Warren County History Museum will be providing some free demonstrations on fire starting with flint and steel, rope making, demonstrations of foraging with a blacksmith, and a demonstration of reproduction muzzle-loading cap and ball rifles and revolvers that are 1840s to 1860s style. There will be refreshments and balloon animals also.”

The Wyatt Earp Birthplace was first built in 1841. The property has been refurbished and is available for short-term rentals as an Airbnb.
