OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg is getting a $5 million upgrade to its emergency department. OSF’s Carrie McCance shares more on the project.
“We’re expanding our emergency department. We’re adding 7000 square feet to it, which will end up being about six additional emergency rooms plus a triage room. So we are really busy with construction out there.”
The project is expected to be completed in 2026. In the meantime, the emergency room will remain open and fully operational throughout construction.
