The United Girls golf team played the second day of the state finals today in Decatur. The girls started the day in 8th place and lowered their score from yesterday by 17 strokes and came home after moving up the leaderboard into 6th place. They came home with United’s second consecutive 6th place finish. What a great effort on the girls part after struggling a little yesterday. Scores for today were Meredith Yung 82, Paige Christianson 84, Jalyn Wallace 85, Abbey Kendall 94, Kennedy Martin 114 and Elly Hinton 115. After 2 days, Meredith finished in 23rd place, Jalyn in 35th place, Paige in 45th place, Abbey in 76th place, Kennedy in 83 place and Elly in 86th place. What a great year the girls had.
