At the recent Monmouth City Council meeting, Mayor Rod Davies informs rate increases for the Citizen’s Lake Campground were proposed and approved for the 2026 season:
“Our revenues have been off a little bit and expenses are going up, so it was determined that we should revisit that, which was also in relation to other camping facilities in the region. Council did approve raising our current rates from $40 per night to $45 per night, raising from $135 per week to $145 per week, and from $450 per month to $475 per month. Tent camping remains the same, as well as the dump station fees. It was a modest increase to help cover increasing costs to operating the campground.”
Tent camping at the Citizen’s Lake Campground is $15 per night, with the dump station fee remaining at a $15 rate.
