It is Homecoming week on the campus of Monmouth College, and the Fighting Scots are gearing up for a full weekend of events.
The Homecoming festivities will kick off Friday night before things are in full swing Saturday morning, starting with the M Club Hall of Fame ceremony, which will see four new inductees.
Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva says Saturday will be a busy one across campus.
“We have our M Club Hall of Fame Saturday morning, and then go straight to the parade, and then volleyball game at noon against Knox, and football at 2 against Luther. There’s also two tennis matches at home against Cornell and Grinnell at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. So, it’s a busy day on campus for athletics. It’s a busy day on campus for regular Homecoming and everything else too.”
Monmouth will also recognize the 1981 and 1982 Midwest Conference champion volleyball teams and the 1996 Midwest Conference champion men’s cross country team as part of the Champions Club.
