Strong Second Half Propels Monmouth-Roseville Boys Past Erie-Prophetstown.

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans were back in action from The Shoebox of Monmouth-Roseville High School on Tuesday night. M-R was playing in their first game since taking home the consolation championship trophy at the Macomb Western Holiday Tournament. The Titans welcomed in the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers for a TRAC-West division game. After a back and fourth first half which saw M-R cling to a 5 point 30-25 lead at the break, the Titans came out on fire in the second half on both sides of the ball, ultimately taking home the win.

In the statbook for the Titans, Nico Avendano led the team with 16 points, while Nick Bresnahan added 15, and C.J. Johnson had 11. The win moves the Titans to 10-7 overall, and 1-1 in conference play. Next up for the boys squad is a road trip to Morrison on Friday evening.
