Cindy L. Stewart, 66, of Stronghurst, IL, formerly of Keithsburg, IL, passed away at 3:31 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 22, 1956 in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Lewis M. and Audrey Mae (Miller) Mosher.  Cindy was raised in New Boston and educated in Joy, IL and graduated from Westmer High School in 1975.

Cindy married Jim Stewart on July 18, 1981 in New Boston, IL; he survives. 

Cindy was a homemaker for many years, she loved taking care of her family.  She cleaned houses with her best friend Tammy Ortberg for several years.  Cindy later worked at Shearer Foods in Burlington, IA for 5 years.  Most recently she worked at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts until her retirement.  Cindy enjoyed working on puzzles and crosswords.  She liked writing in her journal.  Cindy loved playing Yahtzee and card games.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving Cindy is her husband, Jim Stewart of Joy, IL, her children, Sabrina (TJ) Harrison of Keithsburg, IL, Nikki (Michael) McIntyre of rural Little York, IL; her granddaughter, Summer Tharp of rural Little York, IL; her bonus children, Kim Blizzard of Moline, IL, Kerrie Russell of Moline, IL; her bonus grandchildren, Kasi (Allen), Kayla, Karley, Kylie, Ashley (Chris), Zac (Eden), Shelby (Austin); nine bonus great grandchildren; and several beloved cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her in-laws, John & Virginia Stewart. 

A Celebration of Life for Cindy will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Keithsburg First Christian Church, Keithsburg, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials can be made to her granddaughter Summer Tharp for her college education fund or the Keithsburg First Christian Church.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
