Patient Safety Awareness Week has wrapped up, an annual health observance held in March to increase awareness about patient safety among health professionals, patients, and families, sponsored by the Institute for HealthCare Improvement. In continuance of striving to provide medical care locally, OSF Healthcare Holy Family Medical Center has recently hired two new providers, says Manager of Physician Offices Ramona Tinkham:

“We have hired two new Advanced Practice providers; Christy Thornton, she is from the Roseville area and we have Jennifer Jensen, who grew up in Monmouth. Both are accepting new patients right now.”

New patients are also being accepted at the OSF HealthCare Clinic in Roseville, where Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Tonya Gibbs provides care Mondays through Fridays.
