The United FFA program has had recent successes in their competitions shares United High School Principal Chris Schwarz:

“We have had some recent FFA success. Our Vet Science team, our Meat Judging team, and our Livestock Judging team, received a lot of top 10 finishes at state. We are really proud of our kids and just the opportunities that we are able to have our kids participate in. Recently we had our District Proficiency interviews, which were at Geneseo High School, and we had three that will move onto state, which is March 25th. That has been one of the coolest things for me as a High School principal to see that organization and just the things that our kids do that are so much more than just the traditional farming or traditional ag, the leadership skills, the public speaking skills, our kids get so much out of the organization. It is neat to see their hard work pay off in a competitive environment like that.”

Chase Bryant, Andrew Olson, and AJ Jenks will be competing at the State Proficiency event for the United FFA team.
