LuAnn Wall, 66, of Galesburg, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at her home.

She was born Monday, August 20, 1956, in Galesburg, the daughter of Gale and Margaret (Scott) Wall. She was married to Raymond Vinson. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Wall of Galesburg and Jamie (Tacy) Wall of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Gabrielle “Little Foot” (Colton), Lucas, and Kale; three great granddaughters, Bella and twins, Charlotte and Scarlette, and one on the way; brothers, Larry (Rose) Wall of Moline, Gary Wall of Galesburg, and Gregory (Christi) Wall of Galesburg; and nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.

LuAnn worked as a CNA for many years, then in daycare before retiring. She was a graduate of Galesburg High School and attended Carl Sandburg College. She was of Christian faith and had previously attended The Salvation Army.

LuAnn enjoyed writing in her journal, fishing, sewing, and making people laugh. She will be remembered for her listening skills and advice. LuAnn absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Major Rick Ray officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
