Miki Irene Buncher, 70, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 6:06 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2023 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Miki was born August 2, 1952 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ronald and Norma Jean (Kent) Kilby. She married Robert E. Buncher. Miki is survived by three daughters, Melissa (Kevin Aldridge) Buncher, Lori Buncher, and Sara Buncher, all of Galesburg; ten grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Alyssa, Allison Irene, Klatyon, Kellen, and Kameron Aldridge, Devyn Ross, Jaden Marfell, and Andrea Cameron; and four great grandchildren, Braeley, Kade, Raelynn, and Rayne. Miki is also survived by one brother, Russell Kilby of California; three sisters, Diane Gravino of Normal, Illinois, Kathy (Fred) Kimble of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and Karen (A.J.) Salsman of Galesburg; and her dear friend, Debbie Scherer. Along with her parents, Miki was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Clay; and one brother, Ronald Kilby.

Miki drove for Renzenberger Transportation for over 20 years. She then worked at L&D Smoke Shop in Galesburg for 10 years; and eventually retired from Wal-Mart in 2020. In her free time, Miki loved to be with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and playing computer games at home.

Cremation will be accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made in Miki’s memory to the Knox County Humane Society. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
