Rural Nurse Practitioner Scholarship Applications Now Open

Scholarship applications are now available for individuals seeking a career as a nurse practitioner through the Illinois Farm Bureau Rural Nurse Practitioner Scholarship Program, shares Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager Gina Sanberg:

“This year there will be 15 scholarships worth $4,000 each year. This is actually the 31^st year of the program. Students who are nurses and studying to be nurse practitioners are eligible for this program. If they get approved, then after they graduate and are a nurse practitioner, they will serve in a rural area for two years.”
