Thomas Missavage, 67, of Roseville, IL, passed away at 4:10 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center, Galesburg, IL. 

Tom was born on March 5, 1956 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Joseph W. Missavage, Jr. and Lucille Lynch.  He was raised and educated in the Kirkwood area and graduated from Yorkwood High School in 1974. 

Tom married Teri Twomey on June 23, 1990 in Roseville, IL; she survives. 

Tom farmed all of his life on the family farm.  He owned and operated Missavage Seed with his brother Jim for many years.  Tom enjoyed boating, gardening, collecting Farmall Cub tractors, antiques, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.  Tom was a scout leader for many years in Roseville.  

Surviving Tom is his wife, Teri Missavage of Roseville, IL; Michelle (Tony) Murphy of Monmouth, IL, William (Pachelley) Missavage of Monmouth, IL, Megan (Mark) Whyte of Macomb, IL, Kelly (Nathan) Grosse of Newton, KS, Melissa Cox of Macomb, IL, Michael (Erica) Missavage of Carl Junction, MO, Chris (Kira) Bennett of Abingdon, IL, Tony (Ashley) Missavage of Webb City, MO; his grandchildren, Tyler (Danielle Younge) Murphy, Samantha Murphy, Charleigh Murphy, Leigha Murphy, Thomas Missavage, Joseph Missavage, Eva Missavage, Mariyah Bennett, Kayoaina Whyte, Jemar Whyte, Adrian Bennett, Carter Grosse, Carly Grosse, MaKaela Bennett, Brooklyn Bennett, Miles Cox, Cobin Bennett, Carina Missavage, Maddox Missavage; great granddaughter, Everlyn Murphy; and his siblings,  David Missavage of Burlington, IA, JoAnn Waddell of Burlington, IA, John (Jan) Missavage of Huntsville, AL, Jim (Martha) Missavage of Kirkwood, IL, Jane (Larry) Mitchell of Cameron, IL, Paul (Mireille) Missavage of Luxemburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Margaret Meloan, MaryAnn Driskell; his brothers, Douglas Missavage, Michael Missavage; and one granddaughter, Olivia Missavage.

A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Following the gathering at the funeral home, family and friends are invited to Tom & Teri’s home to continue celebrating Tom’s life.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  For more information or to leave an online condolence, please visit www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
