The majority of her working years were spent with the developmentally disabled adult population at St. Mary’s Square, KCCDD, The Francis House and Warren Achievement Center where she retired in May of 2008 after more than 20 years at the various facilities. She had been clerk of the Altona Village Board and was later elected the first female President of the Board. Other interests included reading and baking. Spending time with family and friends was special, but being with grandkids and great-grandkids was her real passion.
