During the Winter Break for the local school districts, the Warren County YMCA will be holding a Christmas Day Camp for the kids. Membership and Youth Development Director Emily Brooks has the details:
“When the schools are out during Christmas break, I have Christmas Camp. If you are at United, Monmouth-Roseville, ICS, or West Central, get online and you can register the kids today. Once you register the kids online, you will not have a payment come out until the day of the camp. You will have to provide your own lunch, but we do arts and crafts, we do Christmas games, we play in the snow if it is a decent cold and a good snow, we play in the gym, we go swimming, we have snacks, and we watch movies. Those that are returning, I have sent a letter to Santa for Tuxedo Sam, who is our penguin from the North Pole that comes to visit.”
